I wish I had a yard so I could make cute pumpkin effigies. *hates apartment living* They are super awesome and I wouldn't be surprised if you actually meet more neighbors due to this than scare them away.

That's from the extremepumpkins.com website and that was some of the inspiration to our display. That one is a few years old, however. Ours is fresh.

Nicely done! How do you get the pumpkins to stand? Do you leave the middle and bottom ones uncarved?

there's a thick wooden dowel driven through all of them (and the bottom two are not carved out... we needed their weight!

and the pumpkin head that's hanging from the arm is... well... just hanging from the arm.

hey, those pumpkins are awesome. I seem to keep on committing pumpkin murder everytime I get a pumpkin though....:P

oh I have a quick question, been going around getting peoples opinions and I treasure yours, so do you think that I should go to art school? There's only a few schools that have a)what I want for a major, Sequintal Art and b)I can afford to go to parttime, b/c fulltime is just too expensive for a poor person like me. The Savannah College of Art and Design is the one I'm talking about. I've been wanting to go to an art school for a very long time, but i've never been able to afford to. This is the first time I might be able to go, even if its only taking one or two classes at a time. What do you think? This has always been my dream, I want to go so badly, but I'm afraid to at the same time.

marching in perfect unison as the gooey carcasses of their enemies bleach in the moonlight...

but those little orange suckers are expensive.
